Bon Jovi returns to the top 10 of Billboard‘s radio airplay-based Adult Contemporary chart for the first time in more than half a decade. The newly released track “This House Is Not for Sale” jumped from number 11 into the top ten at #10 and appears to be climbing. (Get on those phones and make radio requests people!)
The song is the band’s fifth top 10 on the Billboard AC chart, its first, the No. #4 ranked “Always” in 1995 and their most recent being “What Do You Got?” at #8 in May 2011.
“This House Is Not For Sale” is the lead single from Bon Jovi‘s forthcoming release of the same name, dropping Friday, Nov. 4.
“Bon Jovi remains one of the most iconic bands in the world, and the AC format has fully embraced this record,” says Manny Simon, who has overseen promotion of the song as senior vp of adult formats for Republic Records. “‘This House Is Not for Sale’ is classic, current and stays true to the integrity of the band.”
